I am so 1998.
It all started with a man in a Barney suite. I recieved a goody bag from the hideously purple character at a toddlers birthday party that I was forced to attend, to which I reacted with humiliated tears. (Even though I was only 10 years old at the time, Barney had long ago stopped being cool.) So, when the time for writing speeches in 5th grade, my embarrassing episode turned out to be a key benifactor in my passion for writing.
After recieving an honorable mention for my Barney-bashing speech, I found my self moving on to the next level of adolescent writing: fan fiction. I joined Quizilla.com and contributed to an ungodly amount of crappy Harry Potter fan fiction throughout my Middle School career. I'm currently working on revamping an old fan fiction of mine, currently on harrypotterfanfiction.com under the title Devoted to a Wolf, a marauder's era fan fiction.
Since high school, I have co-written a three part novel with (he-who-will-not-be-named), entitled Lore. Despite my 2+ years contributed to all three books, you will not find me as a properly credited co-author, (but that's an entirely different, and altogether messy story that ended with several days in court). Consequently, it's an altogether horrible compilation of pirates, werewolfs and vampires that is currently in the process of a much needed revise and edit. My goal is to have the first book published some time in 2015.
Currently, I'm attending Central Florida College, majoring in Business Management. I would eventually like buy a yacht with the royalties of my first successful novel so that I may travel the world with my wonderful fiance and/or husband, depending on which happens first.
